The Future of Transport

We delved into the not so distant past of rail infrastructure to consider the future of transport.

Los Ferronautas, the Mexican artist duo behind SEFT-1, talked about their exploration of neglected railways in Mexico and Ecuador, and the challenges of bringing the SEFT-1 vehicle (pictured) to the UK.

Also featured: Ellie Harrison on campaign Bring Back British Rail, which since 2009 strived has to popularise the idea of re-nationalising the UK railways, and chaired by Rob la Frenais, then Curator at the Arts Catalyst.
