AND Festival 2010 (Autumn)

Festival of new cinema, digital culture and art.

AND 2010, the Autumn edition took place in Manchester. It featured 15 new commissions, 6 residencies, 18 film screenings, 7 exhibitions, 17 live events and 1 online project from leading and emerging international artists and film-makers across a number of venues and public spaces in the cities.

Artists and designers were invited to reflect on how technologies extended our identities beyond traditional forms of surveillance. Through demonstrations of ideological and sexual dissidence projects built a bridge between the biological and digital self.

AND Festival 2010 (Autumn)  was part of the Northwest’s signature programme for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and a major regional festival of new cinema and digital culture.
