Echo Wanders / Universal Assembly Unit (2015)
The wild landscape of the Lake District is a consequence of millions of years of geological processes, myths and folklore. Echo Wanders was a sound reactive installation where the Siri-fication of nature rendered through colour and light onto this ancient forest. In this pixelated environment visitors are invited to navigate through a surreal guiding landscape, where “spiderwebs chime and berries tinkle”. Set against the night’s silence the trees will transform into a visual chorus, revealed by the wandering voices and sounds.
