Air is Information / Adam Brown & Monika Bakke (2013)
Adam Brown is an artist who is best known for his alchemical achievements: in The Great Work of the Metal Lover he used bacteria to turn soluble gold chloride – naturally occurring in the world’s seawater – into usable 24-carat gold.
During this talk as part of the AND Festival 2013 he discussed his research into the origins of life and the outcome of his AND 2013 workshop, How to make art in a toxic environment.
He was joined by philosopher Monika Bakke, author of Air is Information and The Life of Air: Dwelling, Communicating, Manipulating.
