Leslie García

Born in Tijuana, Mexico, Leslie García is an Electronic Artist and Digital Media Developer. Her work explores the fusion between art, science and technology.

She is currently a member of Astrovandalistas and a Research Associate at Nucleo Laboratorial Nano de la Escola de Belas Artes – Universidad Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Prior to this, she was a Co-Founder of the Electronic Media collective DreamAddictive. She has shown in numerous group and solo exhibitions across Europe and South America and is currently a grant holder with ECAS (European Cities of Advance Sound) Network.

She has been twice awarded the Young Creators Multimedia Program grant from the Mexican National Fund for Culture and Arts in 2008 and 2012 for her projects UberSonic and Pulsu(m) Plantae.
