Laurie Crombie
Laurie Crombie is one of the founder/directors of the Kazimier collective. The collective creates interdisciplinary multimedia shows for a variety of contexts from intimate immersive theatre to mass outdoor spectacles, working with light, sound, and performance to explore new forms of ceremony and collective experiences. Based at the Invisible Wind Factory on Liverpool’s North Docks they produce work in their R&D laboratories, experimenting with new technology and performance techniques to create shows that transport audiences to other worlds.
Laurie also works across a number of projects as a musician, artist and maker. He is involved with a number of bands and musical projects that frequently incorporate custom instruments or are performed in unusual locations. Laurie frequently designs, makes and performs with instruments or in environments he has created.
