Rider Spoke \ Blast Theory (2009)

AND Festival 2009 previewed a demo version of Blast Theory’s Rider Spoke in Liverpool inviting the audience to feed into its development process. The project was a Liverpool-specific iteration of their acclaimed project Rider Spoke, that continued their fascination with how games and new communication technologies are creating hybrid social spaces. Newly recorded questions developed with local collaborators were tested out in this session.

A bike pick up point was located in FACT’s foyer – participants cycled through the city creating a personal and scenic form of participation.
